I had spoken to James in a networking call and a Centerview dinner previously. The interview questions were hard but fair, and made me think outside of the box. For example, he asked about how I would improve the Enterprise Value for the University I go to, and ran through different scenarios of 'if this happened, how would this impact Enterprise Value'. I got flustered a bit and made some math mistakes (probably why I didn't make it to the next round), but he did a good job guiding me to the correct answer when I got suck.
